Fully developed on the roller bank, for every 944 8V 2.5L from 1985.
We thought it was time to modernize the 944 and completely rewritten the chip of the 944 for Octaan 98 on the Wollenbank and use modern EV6 injectors. The fuel and inflammation are optimized for each speed.
In our workshop we have often found that the injectors of the Porsche give 944 difference in volume (yield) and sometimes stay stuck for a while. The result is a restless walk with cold engine and idle. This also has consequences for fuel consumption and the wear of the engine.
That is why we have searched for a modern suitable injector. Choice fell on EV6 injectors from Bosch. With a few small adjustments, these have been suitable for installation in the 944 engine. Our engine is then adjusted with these injectors.

All 944 8V 2.5 ltr from 1985/2, so -called type 2. All 924S with 2.5 ltr motor.
The early ECU in 944 (type 1 to 1985) is different and cannot be adjusted. However, there is a solution, please contact us for information.
Earlier there were tuned eproms for sale for the 944. But they were all adapted for fuel with a low octane content (92) and usually only updated for slightly better performance and unfortunately based on the old injectors. We thought it was time for a European version of this eprom. Because our cars have a higher compression and we have 98 octane, the output can also be higher and the fuel consumption is lower.
Option 1: DIY send your ECU to us
- We test your ECU in our Porsche 944
- We make the necessary adjustments to post the new eprom

- We will send this return, including the injectors and your old eprom
- If you have the skills, you can easily replace the injectors yourself.
Make sure you know how to work with leaking fuel.
If not, a garage in your area can replace the injectors.
- Take the CO again, usually you reach 0.5 to 0.8 CO so much lower than original 2.5%
Option 2: Drive by to Den Dolder
In about 3 hours you are 'ready to go' with your tuned 944.
We build in the eprom as described above.
We convert the injectors for you for an additional amount of 175 euros incl. VAT.
We adjust the engine to CO
Make sure you have fuel tank filled with only octane 98 or higher. If not, we can offer you a bottle of octane booster.
